The masterplan development provides an expansion of the existing school from a 2FE to 4FE, and makes provision for a new 6FE secondary school on the site. We worked closely with this “Ofsted Outstanding” school to ensure their successful ethos is maintained in the new school, whilst expanding the building on an already constrained site.
We have successfully devised a masterplan that:
- Promotes sharing space as part of an All Thru School.
- Minimises the building footprint and maximises the external amenity area for the children.
- Provides educational opportunities through its internal and external environments.
- Improves visibility for the school in its community.
The Primary School was opened in June 2017 by Max Whitlock, MBE - Double Olympic Champion World, Commonwealth and European Champion.
