John Collins- Taylor joined PTAL’s London office in 2011.
John graduated and qualified as an architect in Aberdeen. He has worked on a range of building types including offices, industrial units, distribution warehousing and retail, with a specialization in retail refurbishment.
His retail projects have varied in size and complexity from asset management initiatives involving small extensions or subdivision works through to the comprehensive refurbishment of fully operational and trading shopping centres and redevelopment Master Plans. These include the Whitgift Shopping Centre, Croydon, Nicholas Shopping Centre, Sutton, the Peacocks Shopping Centre, Woking, Queensmere and Observatory Shopping Centres, Slough.
John takes particular pride that many of the projects he has worked on have been repeat appointments from the same Clients and that his long term involvement with individual shopping centres has enabled him study in detail the effects of the implemented refurbishment and to continue to learn. He is a member of the BCSC.
